Processing in your browser
You might have heard of the hype John Resig’s port of Processing to JavaScript created. That port is an amazingly impressive hack, and more than a cool thing to demonstrate what you can do in browser environment. Processing on the iPhone
But now someone pushed the idea of combining different things even further, and showed what you can do by utilizing innovative libraries and frameworks, and putting it all together – … ok, and tweaking it … right, and writing own code … Anyways, by combing the Processing.js with the SpiderMonkey JavaScript engine from Mozilla it is possible to run Processing code on an iPhone. My IDL colleague Mattias Ljungström from FH Potsdam created this for his course on Processing, so his students can easily develop sketches for the iPhone.

Processing in Flash
And now, Tim Ryan wrote a port of Processing to ActionScript, so you can run Processing sketches from within Flash. Don’t forget to checkout the TestSuite, where you can compare native Processing (Java Applets), JavaScript, and Flash side by side.
